Beautiful grounds and landscaping.

My stay was absolutely disappointing and frustrating. The front desk staff exhibited an appalling lack of professionalism and warmth, completely lacking the Aloha spirit expected in Hawaii. It was shocking to encounter empty soap and shampoo dispensers in our room and an invasion of ants in the bathroom. how can such basic upkeep be overlooked? Instead of feeling welcomed, I felt a sense of being ignored by the staff, which ruined any chance of a pleasant experience.

Clean pools were nice, but the room was outdated and lacked kitchenware.

We had a great time enjoying the live music performances in the evenings. It felt like a true American cultural experience, embracing the local vibe and making our nights memorable. I appreciated the poolside tiki bar where we could unwind after our day trips. The atmosphere was relaxed, and the drinks were a nice treat. Spending those evenings together certainly strengthened our bond during this trip.

The room could have used some updates and the availability of kitchenware was not good. I had to buy supplies just to make our stay comfortable.

Great access to the beach and nearby children's playground. Room cleanliness could definitely be improved with better upkeep. Enjoyed the live music at the tiki bar, adds to the atmosphere.

The pool area was well-maintained, and the beach nearby was stunning for sunrises. We loved exploring the island too.

Good center for island fun

Spent 6 nights here and it was a good spot for exploring Kauai. Room was standard, nothing fancy, but we got by. Breakfast isn't included, so we grabbed some snacks from the store and made do. Watch out, though, there's a weird smell when you pull in and the AC could be better.

I loved the vibrant tiki bar by the pool. It had such a cheerful ambiance. The staff there were super friendly and made sure my drink was just right. The location is perfect for heading to Lydgate Beach within minutes. My room had a decent view and was well-kept. However, I faced some trouble with housekeeping. My room wasn’t cleaned on one day, which was quite frustrating. Also, the daily resort fee felt a bit excessive since many amenities were unavailable. I do wish breakfast options were better than just takeout. All in all, it's a charming place to unwind if you're planning on exploring Kauai more than lounging at the hotel.

Totally recommend for an overnight stopping

Clean room, friendly staff, included access to a convenient gym, and the beautiful ocean view made our stay enjoyable while we participated in complimentary daily activities like lei making.

The property is centrally located, making it easy to access various attractions in the area, including nearby beaches and hiking trails. Guests appreciated the small fridge in the room for keeping drinks cold and the complimentary WiFi provided during their stay.

The hotel shows clear signs of aging, with outdated decor and unpleasant odors in the rooms that can be quite off-putting. Housekeeping appears inconsistent, with reviews mentioning dirty towels and maintenance issues, like empty shampoo dispensers, that took days to address. The noise from outside roosters can be a real nuisance, especially when hoping to enjoy some peace and quiet. ear plugs are provided, but that’s not quite the solution you want. Parking also comes with an added fee, which can be inconvenient on busy nights when finding a spot can prove challenging.

Just a good pick for a brief stop-in in Kapa'a, great for the money. The lobby was nice, and the pools were cute. Try to bring some basic kitchen items if you're planning to cook.

I stayed in the King Room with an ocean view for 3 nights. The room was clean and had a great vibe. The bed was comfy, and I loved waking up to the ocean views. There was a nice shower too. Only downside was the beach access was closed due to the storm, which was a bummer but understandable. Overall, the room met my expectations!

after returning to kapa'a for a short break, i found this hotel surpassed my previous experience. the room had stunning ocean views and was spacious enough for my needs. the access to the beach and nearby attractions was just perfect!

Our recent stay was enhanced by friendly staff, particularly at breakfast. The fresh fruit was a delightful start each morning. I recommend the tiki bar for a relaxing evening. their cocktails were refreshing! Pro tip, arrive early to secure parking, as spots can fill up quickly in the evenings.
